“Nobody’s Fool” is a 1986 romantic drama/comedy that stars Rosanna Arquette, Eric Roberts and Mare Winningham. The film follows lead character Cassie (Arquette), who meets Riley Hood (Roberts) in a community acting workshop. Riley is in charge of lighting for the traveling Shakespeare troupe that offers the workshop and Cassie is looking for an escape from her everyday life. Riley’s interest in Cassie brings her confusion, romance and heartache as she tries to resolve her feelings for her old boyfriend and her new feelings for Riley.
Comments:
This was one of those situations that proves the word “demo” is not an option for me. Every new song I begin production on, has always been approached with intention of making a “record.” Always putting my best foot forward right from the start, paying as much attention to the production as I do with the writing, has paid off more times than not.
I also feel that if I’m going to go for a production on a song, not a guitar or piano vocal “demo,” then I have to go all the way so to speak. There is no “in between” in my opinion.
