Bill Wray is a musician, composer and producer from Shreveport, Louisiana. Bill was the producer of the MGM Grand Casino’s Las Vegas production of ‘EFX” which starred Michael Crawford, David Cassidy, Tommy Tune and Rick Springfield. As an artist, Bill opened for acts such as Foreigner, Toto, Rick Springfield, The Kinks, BTO, Peter Frampton and Joe Cocker.
As a writer, he has composed songs for Lisa Hartman, Diana Ross, Little Feat, Loverboy, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Trixter, Ace Frehley and a number of songs related to “EFX.” He has also produced, engineered and sung background with many of these artists.
Bill is featured in the movie “Private School” as the lead singer in the band. Other members of Rick Springfield’s band were also featured on stage: Jack White, Tim Pierce, Mike Seifrit, Brett Tuggle and myself.
This was my first acting debut on the big screen. At that time I was also working with Bill on his album “Seize The Moment” at Sound City Studios, Van Nuys, California.
